I’m Michelle, the face behind Hair MD and I have been passionate about doing hair for as long as I can remember. By the age of 5, I was teaching myself how to braid my Barbie’s hair or busy coercing my babysitters into letting me ‘treat’ them to a makeover…. and I haven’t looked back since!
Today, I am a Journeyman Red Seal certified hair stylist with over 20 years of experience. Through ongoing education, I have become a specialist in creating beautiful blondes and constructing custom colors.
When working with clients, I consider hair type, face shape, skin tone, eye color, and lifestyle. I’m dedicated to helping people create healthy, functional hair through a tailored plan that brings out their best.

I am a proud mother of two beautiful daughters, Raquel and Elita. They were born one year apart on the same day – how unbelievable is that?! I’m also blessed to have a new man in my life who has filled a missing piece in my heart. In addition to being a mother and a partner, I am a daughter, a sister, and a friend. I’m a lover of life and I make sure to savor all the moments.
